Me and Nathan Massey are set to get married later this year – and we can't wait

Me and Nathan Massey have been planning our wedding for what seems to be a lifetime, and now it’s finally getting closer and closer – and neither of us can wait.

From the dress, to the decor and the location, we’ve literally planned our dream ceremony. I won’t lie, the stress has been real and there have been a few arguments, especially over one issue in particular. But we’re finally getting to a stage where we can just be excited.

But as with every wedding, there's been one pre-party that I can't wait for, and that's the hen do.

We’ve both planned pretty big events – I’m heading off to Magaluf on Friday, and Nathan is off to Ibiza at the end of March. To say we can’t wait is an understatement – and I can’t wait to see what the girls have planned for me…

Billie Faiers looked absolutely sensational on her hen do – I hope I do too!

The Hen Do

Hen do’s are massive these days – Billie Faiers looked absolutely gorgeous on her Ibiza hen party, and I’m hoping?my lot will make me look as fabulous as her. Everyone that’s coming is pretty much a mum, so we’re all very excited to have a weekend away from the kids. With me, there’s 13 of us – Nathan has about 30 on his!?

The mad things is, I literally don’t know anything that's happening – I know where we’re going, and I know that we’re flying on Friday morning. I haven’t even packed my case! It's all being planned by everyone else.?One of my bridesmaids, Amy, has been unreal. She’s had people send stuff, she’s made everyone goodie bags, she’s made an itinerary… I’ll let you all know next week what went on.

I did ask one thing of her – just please, don’t make me look ridiculous. I want to look glamorous!

I can't lie, me and Nathan have had just a little few bickers over the guestlist

Wedding stress?

We’ve got a lot more than 100 people on the guest list for our big day… and it gets hard. I don’t know one couple that didn’t have World War Three with their other half about who to invite. It gets so political – whether it’s keeping people who aren’t fond of each other apart, or not being able to invite someone without a plus one… it’s hard!

Nathan was good, but we did have a fair few arguments about it. Every couple I spoke to said the same. One of my best friends, who is celebrating her anniversary really soon, said to me: ‘If you don’t argue about that guest list, it’s not normal.’ I couldn’t agree more!?

We’ve got Scott Thomas and Rykard Jenkins coming from Love Island, as Rykard lives near us and we’re so close to Scotty, so it’s nice. That’s who we’ve stayed in touch with and are really close with from the show.?It’s so hard keeping the numbers down, as we have to invite the people we’ve known forever.?

Scott Thomas will be coming to the wedding – we're really close with him since Love Island!
I didn't realise how much planning would be needed for a wedding

Planning for the big day?

It’s an absolute minefield planning a wedding. If no-one is helping you, you have to be militant and super organised – I’m not wedding level organised. I was thinking I could just go on Pinterest and get some ideas – but then thousands and thousands more ideas that you haven’t even thought of appear.

I’m very lucky, as I’ve got some wedding planners to help me out – it’s a team of ladies, and I call them my guardian angels as they help with all the small details that I might not have even remembered.

There’s so much that goes into planning a wedding, and they’ve done all the decorations, all the flowers – it’s literally been a lifesaver to an otherwise stressful time. But we are most definitely enjoying every single second as the wedding gets closer, and it feels really real now. I can’t wait to be a bride!

We can't wait to officially become man and wife – with our gorgeous son Freddie!
We met on Love Island in 2016, now we're planning for the biggest day of our lives – who would have thought!

Thanks guys, speak to you next week!?
