Real Housewives of Cheshire cast member Tanya Bardsley?has opened up about her battle with depression.
The reality TV star, 38, admits that she found the most recent series of the programme easier to film than the one previous.
Speaking exclusively to new! magazine, the mother-of-four speaks candidly about what made her depression even worse while filming the hit TV show.
Tanya said: “I found it a lot better than the last series and I’m in a much better headspace this time round. I’ve really enjoyed it.
“Yeah, I’d taken myself off antidepressants, which made me even worse. I wouldn’t advise that to anyone who isn’t ready.
“I’m feeling loads better. I’ve just labelled all the medication I was on and mu jounrye on my website, so people can go and read it and it can help them.”
The former model continued: “People just don’t know what to do or who to turn to.
“Unfortunately, some doctors don’t know much about mental health or what to do.”
Tanya may have found the past series difficult to film, but she’s endured the pressure and is one of only two original cast members with Dawn Ward.
Lauren Simon quit the show most recently after being on the show since 2015.
The 43 year old was one of the original members of the cast, but was noticeably absent from promotional photos for the new season.
Dawn Ward said at the time: “Lauren has some personal stuff going on,” she told the Manchester Evening News.
“Lauren's an amazing person, I am missing her to bits. I speak to her daily but she has other commitments at the minute that she needs to concentrate on.”
