Prince George and Princess Charlotte are as “excited as anybody” to meet Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's newborn baby,?Archie.?
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s gorgeous children have reportedly been asking their parents when they get to meet the bundle of joy, after Meghan, 37, gave birth last week.?
“All of the family have been dying to meet little Archie and are really excited to finally congratulate Harry and Meghan in person,” a royal source told The Mirror.
“Harry’s family wanted to give him and Meghan some time to settle in to family life and Meghan’s mum Doria is still staying with them as the baby gets used to his surroundings.
“Prince Charles and Camilla were in constant contact when they were in Germany and are so excited to spend some time with the new family.
“William and Kate are also really looking forward to paying a visit as are their own three children.
“Prince George, five?and Princess Charlotte, four, have already been asking their parents when they can meet their new cousin, they are as excited as anybody.”
It's?believed the family would finally get to meet the young tot on Tuesday.
Speaking on Good Morning America, royal expert Omid Scobie said: "Archie's first week at home with mum and dad was quiet, they wanted that personal space with their newborn.
"This week it's all about the visitors with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting tomorrow and the Prince of Wales visiting later this week."
It comes as Kate and William publicly gushed over baby Archie during a royal engagement last week, a day after his arrival.?
Kate and William were at the launch of the King’s Cup Regatta at Cutty Sark, Greenwich in London?when they opened up on the baby boy.?
When quizzed about the big news, Prince William said he was “absolutely thrilled” and said he was “looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down”.
